If you do not like the QuickTime video but would still like to view your .mov video files, follow these simple instructions to have your file play in any media player. Go to How to Play Mov files and download QuickTime Alternative by clicking on the link. It is a special codec that allows for you to play QuickTime movies in other media players. Follow the instructions exactly as directed on the page to install QuickTime Alternative. This will let you play .mov files in your favorite media player, and even set that media player to the default .mov program.
