Thanks a lot for this tip. I just bought a new laptop with Windows 8 preloaded. Things used to be so simple on previous Windows then. To have an application handy on your task bar you just needed to drag and drop it there. Why in the world has Windows 8 forsaken this simple action and replaced it with a multiple-step procedure? MS should have left simple things simple.
I have windows 8.1 when I search for the camera only gives option to pin to the start but not to the task bar. When I open it it open full screens but not on the desktop.
Is there any other way or option to pin the camera on the task bar?
